Ice Station Special Event will be from Lake Elmo in Washington County, MN  –  Grid Square EN34nx

To request a certificate (sent via email only) send an email with the following contact information to: IceStation2020@radioham.org

* Band/Frequency
* Mode
* RST you received in the QSO
* The email ADDRESS where you would like the certificate sent if different from the email your request is from.

Any email received without the above information will be returned for clarification.

No QSL Cards or other postal requests please.

Certificates for valid contacts will be sent as a pdf file to your email address beginning approximately 2 to 3 weeks following conclusion of the event.

 



 SPLIT ROCK / EDMUND FITZGERALD  SPECIAL  EVENT

November 6 – 8, 2020

The Stillwater Amateur Radio Association (SARA) will be operating to commemorate the sinking of the Edmund Fitzgerald. Using the club’s call sign, WØJH, ~20 SARA members will operate from Split Rock Lighthouse State Park (ARLHS USA 783) in Lake County, MN. This year marks the 44th anniversary of the ship’s mysterious sinking and our fifteenth year of operating this Special Event.

Join us in Remembering the Edmund Fitzgerald and her crew by making contact with WØJH!

 

WØJH Operating Schedule 

Friday, Nov. 6 (Setup starting around 1200 hrs CST) with operation from ~1500-1730 hrs

Saturday, Nov. 7 & Sunday, Nov. 8 10:00 am – 5:00 pm (Central Time)

Frequencies of Operation

3.860, 7.260, 14.260, 21.360, 28.360 MHz (+/- QRM)

Midwest/local stations should look for us on the 75m and 40m bands in the early morning and late afternoon.

We will have a station working PSK31 and FT8 so look for WØJH (070 #1905) around those “watering holes” as well.
