New Ham Night May 16th
New Ham Night 2019 kicks off SARA’s 2019 Radios in the Park season on Thursday May 16th. New Ham Night is designed for ALL newly licensed hams. Get the answers to key questions as you get started in amateur radio. Learn the essentials of getting on the air, the do’s and don’ts of proper operating. It’s all about getting on the air.
New Ham Night will be at Valley View Park in Oak Park Heights. Entrance to the park is about 3/4 miles south of Hwy 36 at Valley View Park Road. We’ve reserved the picnic shelter, so drive all the way into the park and you’ll see us. New Ham Night will run from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
